NUCLEAR PHARMACISTS

We are looking for 2 Nuclear Pharmacists for our Bronx site.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Compound & dispense radiopharmaceuticals either in unit doses or bulk orders.
Prepare doses for delivery including: packing, wrapping, ensuring products are contamination  free, completing all required documentation & forms.
Work with pharmacy personnel to ensure doses are filled and delivered on time.
Oversee & contribute to the overall cleanliness, safety and organization of the pharmacy.
Maintain a safe work area & comply with all safety regulations & procedures.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
Work with Manager and Sales to maintain good customer relationships.
Assist in the training of pharmacy personnel ensuring constant compliance with all related  regulations & procedures.
May serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
Assist with related projects and assignments as may be needed.
Assist the Manager in maintaining a compliant and safe pharmacy.

Job Requirements

Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state of New York or eligible for and able to secure their NY license.
Prefer some prior nuclear pharmacy experience and/or able to obtain their certification as a NY State Nuclear Pharmacist.
Positions may require shift work and some holidays.
Prior experience as a RSO preferred.
Must be able to lift in excess of 85 lbs
Must have good communication and pc skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
